Welcome to the Student Services Monthly Checklist!
Highlights for December: course evaluations and the end of the fall semester.

Action Items
Complete course evaluations.
Course evaluations (except for Law students) will be open from December 9 to December 20.
Students (except for Law) who complete all of their evaluations will have access to their grades beginning December 21. Please complete your course evaluations by the deadline. Visit the Course Evaluations page for more information.
Review your final exam schedule.
Students should review their individual exam schedules in the Agora Portal under the Final Exam link.
Final Exams usually meet in the classroom in which the course is taught but not always. Please ensure that you check your exam date, time, and location carefully.

Note the withdrawal deadline.
The last date to withdraw from a fall course with a "W" or to withdraw from the University is Monday, December 2.
Graduating in December? Verify your diploma name.
December 12 is the last date for all students graduating in December 2024 to verify their diploma names online.
The Mid-year Graduation and Baccalaureate Mass will take place at the St. Ignatius Church on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 (reception immediately following in Corcoran Commons).
Diplomas will be mailed to the address on file starting mid-January.
Note the thesis and dissertation deadline (master's and doctoral students).
December 1 is the deadline for master's and doctoral candidates to submit signed and approved copies of theses and dissertations for December 2024 graduation.
Mark the spring bill due date on your calendars.
Students and authorized Payers received an email from Student Services this weekend with their tuition and fees bill for the spring semester.
Spring semester bills for undergraduate and law students are due on December 10. Spring semester bills for graduate and Woods College students are due on January 10.

Enroll in QuikPAY Payment Plan (undergraduate and Law students).
Enrollment for the spring semester only plan began on September 5. We recommend enrolling by December 10 to meet the spring bill due date. For more information, visit 5pjk.dos5.net/qppp.
Undergraduate day students, interested in taking a course at WCAS?
Undergraduate seniors in MCAS, CSOM, LSEHD, or CSON who want to register for a spring 2025 course in the WCAS can do so beginning Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 9 a.m. for a limited number of seats.
On Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 9 a.m., sophomores, juniors, and seniors in MCAS, CSOM, LSEHD, or CSON, as well as WCAS students, will be eligible to register for any unclaimed seat.
First-year students are not eligible to take WCAS courses. All other students are allowed to enroll in just one WCAS course per term. For more information, including restrictions, visit the Undergraduate Registration page.
Waive medical insurance (if applicable).
To waive spring medical insurance, go to 5pjk.dos5.net/medinsurance and select the Forms tab. All waivers must be submitted by January 24, 2025 for the spring semester only. Students who do not complete a waiver prior to the deadline will automatically be enrolled in and charged the student premium for the student medical insurance plan.

Looking for a job?
Academic year job opportunities are available on the Job Listings page. For students who have secured an on-campus job for the first time, please be sure to bring forms of identification (such as but not limited to, a valid/unexpired U.S. Passport, or a combination of a valid driver’s license or Eagle ID card and Social Security card or birth certificate) in original formats. No pictures or photocopies will be accepted. A full list of acceptable documents for Form I-9 completion can be found on the USCIS website. International F-1 students will need to bring in their valid Foreign Passport along with their Forms I-94 and I-20 and Employment Authorization Letter from the Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS).
Purchase an MBTA pass for the spring semester.
Students may now purchase MBTA passes for the spring semester at a discount. The deadline to purchase passes at a discount is January 9, 2025. These passes offer unlimited rides from February 1, 2025 to May 31, 2025. Visit the MBTA Passes and Parking Permits page for more information.
Order a parking permit (if applicable).
Eligible undergraduate resident students and graduate students may order a parking permit in the Agora Portal ("Parking Permits and Citations"). Students may pick up their fall parking permit in the Office of Student Services.
Note the returning undergraduate financial aid application deadline.
The priority filing date for the Undergraduate Financial Aid Application is March 1. The application and instructions will be coming soon.
Graduate and Law students, note the start of the 2025–2026 financial aid application process.
Graduate and Law students, the 2025–2026 FAFSA will be available December 2024 and can be completed at studentaid.gov.
The 2025–2026 BC Grad and Law Supplemental form and the 2025–2026 Grad Enrollment form will be available at the beginning of December on our website: dos5.net/gradaid.

Ongoing Reminders
Sign a Direct Loan Master Promissory Note (if applicable).

Complete Title IV Authorization (if applicable).
Federal regulations require that Title IV funds credited to your student account be applied only to cover allowable charges, unless Boston College obtains authorization to apply these funds to all other charges on your student account. You may submit your authorization electronically in the Agora Portal. For more information, visit the Billing page.
Complete Direct Loan Entrance Counseling (if applicable).

Enroll in direct deposit for student account refunds (if applicable).
We recommend that all students use direct deposit when requesting refunds. Refunds processed via direct deposit are faster and do not require pickup. Visit the Billing page for instructions and more information.
